Renaming, Copying, and Deleting a Sound
To rename, copy, or delete a sound, or delete all sounds, select option 7
from the SOUNDS menu. The following screen will appear:

Select sound:Sound_name

<Play> <Rename> <Copy> <Delete>
The fields and soft keys are:
• The Select sound field:
This field is used to select the sound to be renamed, copied, or deleted.
It is a choice field containing an alphabetic list of all sounds in memory.
Pressing a pad will select the sound currently assigned to that pad in the
current program.
• The <Play> soft key:
Pressing this soft key plays the selected sound at full velocity level
through the stereo outputs.
• The <Rename> soft key:
Pressing this soft key causes a new field, New name, to appear below
the Select sound field:
============= Rename Sound ============A
Select sound:Sound_name
New name:Sound_name

<Do it>
Enter the new name in the New name field, using the same method as
was used to edit the Sequence Name field in the Play/Record screen.
Once the new name is entered, press <Do it>.
• The <Copy> soft key:
Pressing this soft key causes a new field, Name for copy, to appear
below the Select sound field:
